Volunteers

As a charity, LMCC depends on volunteers. Your generosity has allowed us to offer a wide range of activities at the centre, but we would like to more, a lot more... Their hard work is an integral part of what makes the Leytonstone Muslim Community Centre (LMCC) successful!

Volunteers are involved across all age groups, helping with a variety of activities from football to tuition. Most of them help in the youth club during the evening and weekends.

The varied life experiences of our volunteers help our young people to see new dimensions in what they can achieve and how to get there. Volunteers learn new skills in coaching, teamwork and managing which they can take back to their home and work lives.

Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and get to know the local community. It can also be a way of enhancing your CV or improve your employment prospects.

We are keen to hear from you if you can offer your time and skills on an ongoing voluntary basis. If you want to help us run a solid base of activities and partner in the LMCC vision.
